Over 20 years of serving in schools, churches, grassroots organizations, as well as nationals boards and coalitions, has afforded David Mahan unique perspective on the issues facing youth and families in communities all across the country.
This coupled with his family’s personal story of overcoming poverty and the statistical realities of becoming teen parents, gives him and his wife Elese a voice and a message that resonates with people from all walks of life.
At the core of David’s drive to help people thrive and overcome life’s adversities, are the guiding principles of personal responsibility, strong marriages and families, and an active faith in Jesus Christ. Whether the issue is poverty, teen pregnancy prevention, education reform, or the economy, David feels strongly that any effective solution will flow out of these guiding principles.
